Community Outreach Program for the Deaf - New New Mexico was established in 1982, with a federal establishment grant from our Arizona sister agency. After 29 years, COPD has stopped providing services- except for Interpreting. We did lots! We had three amazing Directors: Lin Marksbury, Edina Jabor, Larry Rhodes. We provided support statewide across New Mexico. We served thousands of Deaf and DeafBlind persons through the years. We had support from many state and federal partners, as well as various grants.
